CLS-CraftyBits V0.5 Spoilers

This document is in progress. Among the many aspects of this mod, having an accurate list of spoilers is low on the list of priorities. However, there are some things you might never think to look for and may not notice even if you run into them.

SMITHING

Hackdirt has a fully functional (except a crucible) smithy in the caverns below the town, along with both coal and iron veins. Its part of why the people of Hackdirt are so certain they can withdraw from the rest of the world: they have more raw materials at their disposal than most communities.

BOW MAKING

1) Harrada root can be pounded (with the lapidary tools) into a fiber that can be used to back wooden bows to make them stronger and faster. Once you've pounded the harrada into fiber use it just like sinew to make a harrada backed bow.

2) Certain hanging harrada will give you a harrada limb instead of the regular harrada root ingredient. If you are skilled enough in marksman (50 or higher) you can craft this limb into a harrada bow. Its done the same way you make a wooden bow out of a raw pole.

LEATHER ARMOR MAKING

------------------------------------
Bonemold Armor

Bonemold armor will eventually have an in-game book that details its construction. It entails several steps to gather and create all the materials.

Since there are no shells to make it from, we are going to use laminated doe and/or buck pelts. They are laminated with resin rendered from the hard and resinous (and fairly rare) Yellow Cinnabar Polypore Cap. Here are the steps:

Resin: Simple. Put a number of Yellow Cinnabar Polypore Caps in the cook pot and put them on the fire. I suggest doing small batches as they take a while. 1 cap will yield 1 resin.

Making Laminated Hides: Using the craftting board, place one doe or buck pelt on the board. Then place a resin on it. Then lay the second doe or buck pelt on top of it to glue the 2 pelts together.

Making the bonemold armors: Use the laminated hides like any other pelt. Put 1, 2 or 3 on the crafting board and cut them into whatever armor pieces you like.

----------------------------------------
Inked armors:

Vanilla leather armor (crafted or not) and pit leathers (for now, crafted or added by other mods that use the vanilla versions) can be darkened by spilling an inkwell on them one at a time at the crafting board. Currently one inkwell for each piece even though a cuirass should probably take 2.
